We had issues with our room. Upon the second time contacting the front desk, we told the front desk we were going to bed and the issue could be fixed the next morning. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights , we chose it because of its golf course , we played one day golf course was decent. Hotel check was not very smooth , we had booked it couple of months ago on Expedia , the front desk lady kept asking , did we just book the hotel , she finally found the reservation , rooms are decent and clean.

Hotel does not provide any cleaning service citing COVID concerns , they still charge daily resort fee despite the fact it is pandemic and there is no service , even water is not stocked in the room. We had to call front desk to get some water bottles. There is casino in this hotel , we passed by quickly. We had a drink from the bar , over priced and not even a drop of alcohol was out in margarita , they just have us premixed margarita without any alcohol. So my advise is do not order any drink from the bar , instead go to a nice place and enjoy the drinks.

Will not be coming back to this hotel. Date of stay: November Trip type: Traveled with friends. Kristen D wrote a review Nov This is a review from non-gambling guests: Our first visit to this resort was in October for a conference where my then-boyfriend proposed on the balcony of Orange Sky. We like to come back every year for our wedding anniversary to celebrate. It is a great place to go for a long weekend.

We fly in mid-day and are at the hotel from the airport in minutes. Check-in is always a breeze, rooms are always spacious, clean, and in excellent condition. Lounging by the pool is always fun - lots of people to meet and the poolside staff is always very attentive and thoughtful. I feel like we never want for anything when we are there. The Spa is not to be missed -- we opt for a couples massage with a pre-soak bath for maximum relaxation. If you choose to visit the Spa, plan for a half day, so you can take advantage of the saunas and extra amenities, as well as lunch on their private balcony.

We like to stay in the Scenic Executive King rooms -- lots of windows and light, and a large balcony with great views in the North tower. Only thing missing from the room is a nice tub to relax in, but it is a small thing compared to the comfort and spaciousness of the room. The food is great and very reasonably priced. There are a lot of options no matter the time of day or night. Orange Sky is extra special: beautiful outdoor dining on the top floor with gorgeous views especially around sunset time.

As mentioned, we are not gamblers, so we don't spend much time on the casino floor except when picking up a quick bite to eat or a drink at the bar , but this place has so much to offer, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun weekend away. We were sad Orange Sky and the Spa were understandably closed, but still had a wonderful time.

The staff did their best to make the new restrictions minimally intrusive, there were still a lot of food options mostly takeaway , and we felt very safe in the extra-clean environment. This simple poker game is popular for its easy game pace and the camaraderie you build with other players while trying to beat the dealer. How to Play 3-Card Poker To begin, players place their ante bet. They can also try their luck by placing the "pair plus" bet.

After receiving three cards, the player will then decide whether or not to proceed and play the hand. If so, the player will place a bet for the same amount he or she placed for the ante and "pair plus" bets if played. In order to qualify for play, the dealer must have at least a Queen high among the three cards. If the dealer qualifies, the cards are shown and payouts are calculated. Simply put, if the player has a higher poker hand than the dealer, the player wins both the ante and the play bets.

If the player also bet on the "pair plus" and has a pair, he or she will also win that. If not, that bet is lost. The game also offers fun side bets that pay off for hands with straight flushes and for the number of cards in your flush! Players will make a mandatory Ante wager and optional bonus wagers if they desire. Each player and the dealer will receive seven cards. Upon inspecting their cards, the players can fold and surrender the Ante, or they can elect to call the dealer.

The call wager is equal to the Ante wager for hands that contain flushes of 4-cards or less. If the player has a 5-card flush the call wager is 2 times the Ante. With a 6 or 7-card flush, the call wager is 3 times the Ante. The dealer will reveal their hand and must qualify with a 3-card flush that contains a 9 at minimum.

If the dealer does not qualify, Ante wagers and applicable bonus wagers will be paid. If the dealer does qualify, the dealer will compare their cards with those of the players to determine the winner. Hands that contain more flush cards than the dealer automatically win. If the player and dealer both have the same number of cards, the next ranking criteria is standard poker ranking. Players can win up to times their bonus wager when playing the straight flush bonus.

The standard flush bonus wager can pay up to times the wager. Several exciting ways to win makes High Card Flush a popular and easy game to learn and play! The war is on at Talking Stick Resort. Casino War is a fast, exciting game that gives you a great rush watching the non-stop back-and-forth between the player and the dealer.

To play, the bet is placed, then a card is dealt for the player and another for the dealer. Whichever card is of the highest value wins. In the event of a tie, the player has a choice to "surrender" or "go to war. If the player and the dealer go to war, the player places an equal bet, and additional cards are dealt for the player and the dealer.
