Easy in and out of facility and numerous pull-thru sites. The park can handle any size RV. Restrooms were very clean despite drainage problem in the shower which overflowed to another drain. Overall peaceful but at times the freeway noise was too noticeable.

Wireless internet had strong signal, but Wireless internet had strong signal, but signal would fail and reconnect every few minutes which made streaming impossible but web browsing, email retrieval tolerable. Would stay here again if had reason to be in the area.

Got the last site available which was right next to the propane tank across from the main entrance. Not desirable but served its purpose for a quick overnight stay. Noise from the highway, train went by twice overnight, and late night and early morni Noise from the highway, train went by twice overnight, and late night and early morning Jack N the Box goers can be heard ordering trough the intercom.

Recommend ear plugs and eye covers for sleeping. Despite this, the bathrooms are great-clean with individual shower all to yourself. Really is ok for an overnight stay with food and gas station available close by. Very pleased with this RV resort. We started with a 1 week reservation then extended another week because we enjoyed it so much.

The resort sits at the base of a mountain with a couple gorgeous hiking trails and a creek crossing which was perfect for our dogs to let off some steam. Laundry and shower facilities were very clean. Pool an Pool and spa seem well maintained, although I did not try them out. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Driving through on our way home so only stayed 1 night. Easy access off the I freeway. Nice level paved parking. Will have to come back. Pulling into the Gold Ranch at a late hour, we discovered no challenges. Well, we chose what looked like a premium space, double wide with large grass outdoor space. That said, the clerk only charged us for a regular spot and for that little goodness in the world, we were entirely grateful. After such a long multi day drive, we were ready for a hot shower. Running our BiG RiG dry during the winter months we were off to the bath house.

On our way, we discovered an incredibly inviting heated pool and the steam filled bubbling hot tub along the way. Well, yes thence you. I believe we will!!!!! Well, we were happy campers!!!!!! Coffee shop was friendly and reasonably priced. Nice change of pace and even a loyalty program. Read more. Date of stay: January Trip type: Traveled as a couple. Sparks, Nevada 14 contributions 1 helpful vote. Date of stay: August Helpful Share.

DiannaM wrote a review Jul Monterey County, California contributions helpful votes. One Night Stay. Wonderful, clean, nicely landscaped park. Close to the freeway yet quiet. The photo is of Kelly, cashier at the casino. Date of stay: July Trip type: Traveled with family. California contributions 31 helpful votes. Love place. We spent 2 nights here on our return trip home to Ca. All facilities in park were clean. Nice RV sites many with trees. Staff very friendly. Large bathrooms with showers.

Laundry room clean and in working order. We would recommend thus place and would stay here again. Date of stay: July Trip type: Traveled with friends. Larry R wrote a review Jul Windsor, California contributions 49 helpful votes. No longer Terribles, just terrible! Change of ownership and now just desperately in need of an culture revamp. Staff friendly, but appear to be beat down. No energy on a Saturday night. Restaurant needs physical renovation, staff training and motivation, as well as a stronger connection to the bar and casino.

Ribeye was decent for the price. Casino has latest games, but other areas are way out of date. Find a better place to lose your money. Date of stay: July Trip type: Traveled as a couple. Tawnipete wrote a tip Mar Nampa, Idaho 24 contributions 7 helpful votes. Bishop, California contributions helpful votes. Gardnerville, Nevada 21 contributions 2 helpful votes. Kelsdogger wrote a tip Sep Considering how close I is, freeway noise wasn't that bad.

We'll be back next year. Tip for Other Campers: Minimal traffic so a nice area to ride bikes. Easy access on and off I Sinclair gas station right next to resort for convenient fueling. Right off highway 80 but didn't seem loud at all.

Pull through asphalt site with plenty of extra room even though we are over 52' long. Had a big tree with shade at our site. Laundry room and bathrooms were immaculate. You really don't get to know an RV park until you've stayed there at least a month I have visited this park many times in the past on weekly visits and always give it a 10, not that it's not deserving of a 10 it's just that when you're here a month there's certain things that let's just say irritate you more than if you we're only here for a day or two or week.

Most sites you have an orientation facing south west more south then west so you pick up the sun all day long which in essence no shade so you run your air conditioning pretty much all day tell the sun drops down below the mountains and then you can open your windows and cool off naturally.

I was very disappointed in the Laundry Mat we used it three times there was only three dryers out of seven that worked, and there was a lot of hair on top of the washers that needed to be cleaned off I did my best but that's not my job!! While the ladies in the office are the best and very accommodating they probably can only take these complaints and pass them up. I don't want to beat this place up too bad because it is a very nice place to stay with out resort fees and it is very accommodating it's just after spending a month you see things that you don't normally see on a short stay.

Traffic noise because you run parallel to I 80 is not bad probably if anything you hear the train more than you do the traffic at certain times during the night. Like I said we will stay here again the monthly rate is an excellent rate for what you get, your far enough away from Reno to enjoy it but not be part of it. We camped here in a motorhome. Tip for Other Campers: Convenient to Reno But for RV camping I would definitely advise having a sunscreen for your front window it will offset the heat absorbed through your front glass if you are in a motorhome.

Well run and cared for. Gravel parking but grass on both sides of coach. Nice shade tree. They have grown some since our past stay years ago. Camper on the driver side has been there for over 5 years and was very nice. Keeps his space orderly. Space on other side had grandkids running all over our space interrupting our outdoor time.

Little dog kept getting away and bothering us and our dog. I finally went over and spoke to them which put it to a stop. However later as their 5 cars and families began to arrive, unknown until the next morning they came and helped themselves to our picnic table and did not ask or return it.

I did complain to the manager who said she would talk to them. I heard from other long termers that family is not liked by Mgt Overall we like the park and will stay again without doubt or concern Tip for Other Campers: Casino and discount on food in their restaurant. Good store and gas too. Easy to access the pumps.

This resort is feet right off the freeway ramp. Can't get any easier. Very nice park with long level paved sites with grass and gravel area. Nice trees throughout park. Came during hot August nights. Rates were a little higher at this time. Really friendly staff and easy check in. Nice pool and spa area. Good electrical water and sewer hook ups.

Wifi better than most parks. Cable was good also. Most sites allow clear satellite connection. We have stayed all around this area and this is the nicest park in my opinion. Had enough space for motorhome tow and classic car. Close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was super helpful and courteous. I booked the site while my husband was driving and we lost our connection but they held our spot till we called back.

Easy overnight stop off I Sites are close together and they seem to have been recently resurfaced. Utilities were good except wi-fi and cable. Didn't use the facilities of the casino. Very nice park, with clean, grassy spaces between sites. While there, the water pressure was low and we were told they would fix it the next day.

Did not happen. Sewer connections are located waaaaay back of the RV. Had to use 30' of hose. If you are towing with a MH, remove your toad and place your rear end near the entry to the site. Park your toad in front. Walking distance to the casino. Reasonably good food available in the restaurant. The low priced prime rib dinner was quite good. Easy in and out. We'll go back if we are in the area.

Excellent for short stay, especially while enroute on I This is the second time we stayed at this park and it was great. We were on the very last row and had easy access to hiking trails. People are very friendly and the staff is outstanding. We will stay here again. This is a large park and it was full during our stay.

The check in was easy, the park roads are wider than most roads and our site was spacious. It was at the end of the row and looked out over the mountains. Utilities were good, I recommend using a pressure value for water.

Wi-fi worked ok and cell service was excellent. They have a community room with a TV, it closes at 10pm along with the pool and laundry. Didn't use the showers however they were clean. Laundry has several machines but only a few high capacity models.

Price was better than Laundromat too. They gave us a 2 for 1 coupon for the adjacent restaurant. Couldn't use it through. We stopped in and it looked maybe a third full. The hostess told us it would be an hour wait and several parties were ahead of us! Costco and Sam's about 20 min drive. Lake Tahoe is about 30 min drive Tahoe City. This was our first time to the Reno area, and we picked a great place to stay!

The RV park has a very park-like setting with grass and trees, a great heated pool and hot tub, with long sites and ample space in between. The utilities worked well, and our Verizon service was smoking fast. The staff is nice, and the casino was very generous in their offers of 2 for 1 dinners, which were delicious. We got coupons at check in, and also won a BOGO dinner! We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an additional week.

Highly recommend. We have stayed here 3 times before while we visit friends and each time is as good as the previous. This year our site has a fresh asphalt pad. The views are of the nearby pine tree hills. Nice grass spaces between the sites are a plus. This is about as close to a perfect RV park that we have been to in ten years on the road.

The pull thru sites are 70' long, everything is paved, lush grass between the sites, a casino, restaurants, huge gas station all on premises. The view is exceptional. The roads are wider than many residential streets, access to the sites is effortless. Everything worked perfectly with no hassles or issues whatsoever. We stay at this park on occasions, mostly in the fall when the weather is cooler this time it was in the middle of July.

Have no complaints the power was very good the site we got in was an end sight, One of the only problems was there was a lot of fires going on in California and the smoke was terrible you could barely see the mountains surrounding this campground, this was no fault of the campground but it's what you had to deal with while you were here. The help they have here is very very nice very accommodating.

We look forward to our return visits to this park. Tip for Other Campers: Casino restaurant attached to RV park was very reasonable food was better than average. The only thing I might add as a cautionary is when you are leaving the park heading to Reno the first on ramp to go to Reno has very little run out distance in other words if there's a lot of traffic let it go because there is no good merging space or roadway.

Very nice staff and a very clean park with great views of the mountains. The sites are paved and level with a nice grassy area. I have a 38 foot motor home with 4 pop-outs and had plenty of space. Wi-Fi was slow. Has a little casino you can walk to with a restaurant. The food was just ok.
